Days Gone looks to be Sony’s next big franchise. The open world zombie survival game came out earlier in the year to some mixed reviews, but fantastic sales. And the ride isn’t over yet, either. Sony Bend is going to make sure that enough gas is in the tank to keep going with free post-release content, the second wave of which is here now.

Last week we got a never-ending Horde that you had to survive for as long as possible. This week we get another survival wave mode, but instead of the infected, we are going up against a little more intelligent enemy in Marauders. You will have to utilize stealth and the weapons that defeated foes will drop. You can see the official announcement below.

Days Gone is available now for PlayStation 4, and the challenge is live now. If you’re curious about what Sony Bend might be up to next – maybe even for the PS4 – you can read about it here.
