Developer Behaviour Interactive has announced a new collaboration for Dead by Daylight. This time around, the studio is teaming up with classic heavy metal band Iron Maiden to bring its mascot, Eddie, to the game. Check out the trailer below.

While Eddie won’t be a bespoke new Killer coming to the game, the character instead acts as an outfit for some of the other Killers. Namely, The Dredge, The Doctor, The Deathslinger, and The Oni can now pretend to be the Iron Maiden mascot. In order to prevent confusion from a gameplay standpoint, each Killer will take on a different version of Eddie, derived from one of his several iterations.

Survivors also get new cosmetics to celebrate Iron Maiden in the form of new tour shirts for all original Survivors in the game. As a bonus, equipping these cosmetics plays classic Iron Maiden track Fear of the Dark in the match lobby, setting the mood before the match starts.

Behaviour Interactive is no stranger to collaborations for Dead by Daylight, with the addition of Alan Wake to the game being the most recent one. In the past, the game has also included famous movie icons like Chucky from Child’s Play or the Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley from Alien to the game.

Dead by Daylight is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
