Dambuster Studios’ Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition, a definitive edition of its 2023 action RPG, is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Physical editions are also live for current-gen consoles. Check out the launch trailer below.
The Ultimate Edition includes the base game and two expansions – Haus and SoLA – alongside all of the Slayer character packs (which include unique cosmetics) and the new Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 weapons pack. It also launches with Patch 6, which features Neighborhood Watch, a three-player co-op mode with new characters.
Players must scavenge for supplies and fortify defenses over several days to prepare for a massive zombie horde on the final day. The patch also adds New Game Plus, allowing players to start a new playthrough and reach a new level cap. It also contains new weapons, a new zombie breed, and more challenging gameplay.
