Dead or Alive 6

Koei Tecmo’s Dead or Alive 6 was recently delayed to March as developer Team Ninja committed to polishing the overall balance and presentation. To that end, an online beta test will be available for PS4 owners from January 11th to 14th. You can download the beta client now from the PlayStation Store. There’s no indication of a beta for other platforms, unfortunately.

A new trailer was also released to showcase the game’s combat, features, and preview the new character Nyotengu. A triangle system of combat is utilized, which sees strikes beating throws, throws beating holds, and holds beating strikes. New players can also utilize Fatal Rush, a quick combo from pressing a single button, to get into the game.

Dead or Alive 6 will launch on March 1st for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Pre-order the game today and you receive Nyotengu as an additional character. New character Phase 4 can also be obtained by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition of the fighter.
