Put those blood curdling screams to good use.

Dead Space 3, Visceral Games’ upcoming action horror title for PS3, PC and Xbox 360, is shaping up to be quite the experience, and will offer more than one way to play. Along with Isaac, John Carver will also be a playable character and offer a new way to explore the story. EA has released a video showcasing the differing styles but they’ve also indicated another way to play: Dead Space 3 will support voice commands for Kinect. These commands range from finding Stasis and assisting your partner to attacking enemies.

Executive Producer on Dead Space 3 and VP, General Manager of Visceral Games Steve Papoutsis stated that, “The voice commands in Dead Space 3 give players a unique way to take down the terror, whether they choose to face the Necromorphs alone in single-player, or alongside a friend with drop-in / drop-out co-op. Dead Space 3 delivers the action-horror experience our fans have come to know and love. And with the ability to survive the adventure alone, with a friend, or with Kinect, we’re excited about extending the spine-tingling Dead Space experience to a whole new audience of players.”

Dead Space 3 releases on February 5th 2013 in North America and February 8th 2013 in Europe.
