Death Stranding is, at long last, almost here. Put together by a relatively smaller team in a period of time that seems impossibly short for such an ambitious game, the game’s roughly a month and a half away from launch. Recently, we were treated to a whole lot of updates on the game, from multiple gameplay demonstrations to story trailers– but we’re in line to see something else still.
Over on Twitter, Hideo Kojima recently tweeted out some new images of his work station, showing a trailer being edited on his computer screen. As an eagle-eyed user on Reddit has pointed out, on the top left of the screen, it says “launch trailer edit”. Getting a launch trailer for a game when its actual launch is so far away is a bit weird, but it’s not completely unheard of. Also, there’s no guarantees that we’ll be seeing this right away anyway. Either way, we do know that Kojima is working on it, and we’ll be able to see it soon.
Kojima has recently been talking a great deal about Death Stranding, from its multiplayer aspects to what sort of impact those can have in the game’s open world environments. The game itself is out on November 8, exclusively for the PS4.
