Death Stranding – Hideo Kojima Teases New Trailer Yet Again

The mastermind of teases is teasing us once again.

If there’s one thing Hideo Kojima is better at than making video games, it’s torturing people with teases of the video games he’s making. Not too long ago, he said that new Death Stranding footage would “maybe” be coming soon, which was followed shortly afterward by him teasing a new trailer on social media.

Now, he’s at it again. Kojima’s posted an image on his official Twitter page that shows a video in the process of editing, frozen on the splash screen that declares it “a Hideo Kojima game”, a screen that’s present in all his trailers. Figurines of himself, and Kratos and Atreus from God of War can be seen on his workstation as well- I’d say they mean nothing, but Kojima being Kojima might be hinting at something in typically convoluted fashion. Take a look below.

Death Stranding is due out for the PS4, but is currently without a release date- with Sony not attending E3 this year, there’s no telling when we might receive more information on that front. That said, recent reports have suggested that it might be a cross-gen release for the PS5 as well. Read more about that through here.
