After much hype, Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding finally received its launch trailer at Paris Games Week. Director Hideo Kojima and artist Yoji Shinkawa were on stage to present the trailer which the former edited himself. Check it out below in all of its glory (though it might be spoiler-ish for those who want to stay in the dark).

Death Stranding takes place several years after catastrophic events have decimated America, leaving several cities in isolation. It’s up to protagonist Sam Bridges to travel the nation and re-forge those connections. To help him, he’ll have a Bridge Baby or B.B. which helps Sam to see the Beached Things, strange entities that can monstrous form.

Though it releases on November 8th for PS4, reviews for Death Stranding will be going live on November 1st. Stay tuned for the same, especially considering people like George Miller (director of Mad Max: Fury Road) have called it “extraordinary”. Death Stranding is also coming to PC in early Summer 2020 with 505 Games publishing.
