Death Stranding’s hugely anticipated release edges closer, and as it does, information on it continues to be given out at a drip feed. Along with that, especially over the last few weeks (ever since the game’s release date was announced), director Hideo Kojima has been sharing images from the game playing on the screen at his desk on social media- and we have a couple more of those here today.

Both screengrabs are very similar in nature to what we’ve seen from Kojima of late- showing Sam, the protagonist (played by Norman Reedus), taking a knee and just sitting down and taking in the environments he finds himself in. One of the images shows him in a more lush setting, while the other depicts much more dreary surroundings. Both also show him wearing a hat ad goggles, so it’s interesting to wonder whether a customizable outfit will be part of the game. Take a look below.

Development on Death Stranding is proceeding full steam ahead, and we’re in line to receive more info on the game – hopefully a new trailer – on August 19. The game launches on November 8 for the PS4, but recent reports have suggested that it may no longer be exclusive to Sony’s system.
