Those that have followed him through his storied career know that legendary Japanese game director Hideo Kojima is a pretty odd guy. That oddness has always seeped into his games in some form, but considering how Death Stranding seems to be, by and large, Kojima unfiltered it’s definitely aiming to be something entirely different. And one thing that’s going to be pretty different is something Kojima has always had a fascination with: making your character do things you don’t expect.

Kojima has been using his Twitter account to tease the game in an unorthodox way. That continues today as Kojima shows off too new things you can make the main character, Sam, do. He can rest, and after resting for awhile, he can change his position to eventually fall asleep.

Whether or not this will actually have an effect on the gameplay or is just one of the many eccentric things Hideo Kojima throws into his games remains to be seen. We’ll just have to wait and see when the game comes out on PlayStation 4 November 8th.
