Death Stranding- The Game Awards 2018 Showcase Teased?

Is it time to get ready for another confounding trailer that shows a lot but says nothing?

The bromance of Geoff Keighley and Hideo Kojima has become very well documented at this point, and fans of Kojima continue to reap its rewards. Last year at The Game Awards, the two personalities collaborated to give us a glimpse of an excellent trailer of Kojima’s upcoming Death Stranding, and it looks like (maybe) that might happen once again this December.

Geoff Keighley recently posted an update on his official Twitter account, with an an image of Kojima standing in front of a screen sporting the symbol of The Game Awards, accompanied with the caption “Presenting plans to my friends”. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see another new trailer for Death Stranding at this year’s The Game Awards.

I can only hope that, unlike the E3 2018 trailer, it will actually, finally reveal just what the hell the game is all about. I mean, the E3 trailer was beautiful and everything, but honestly, it told us absolutely nothing. Hopefully Kojima finally deems that it’s time to change that- maybe even give us a release date?

The Game Awards 2018, by the way, will be taking place December 6, as was recently confirmed.
