Arkane Studios’ Deathloop has a new gameplay trailer courtesy of Game Informer as part of its March 2021 cover story. The focus is on the weapons that Colt wields to assassinate his targets on Blackreef isle and there’s some pretty decent variety to be had. Check it out below.

Along with the Machete, there’s the PT-6 ‘Spiker’ which serves as a decent stealth weapon. The Rapier is a single shot rifle good for long-distance shots while the Heritage lever-action gun provides some mid-range stopping power. The LIMP-10 is an SMG that vaguely resembles the Škorpion vz. 61 while the Vopat Trencher serves as a pump-action shotgun.

Of course, you also have the Four-Pounder which seems equivalent to a Desert Eagle (and can be dual-wielded). A variety of gadgets and powers, from a deployable turret to lifting up foes, can also be seen in the trailer. Deathloop is set to release on May 21st for PS5, where it will be exclusive for one year, and PC. Stay tuned for more gameplay in the coming weeks.
