Deep Silver releases new CGI trailer for Dead Island: Riptide

When all hope is lost... explode your RV. That's what Walter and Jesse should have done.

Deep Silver and Techland have released a new CGI trailer for their upcoming game, Dead Island: Riptide. And while the trailer isn’t quite as good as the debut trailer for the original Dead Island, it’s still pretty damn good.

It’s a two minute long trailer that shows a couple in an RV that’s been tipped over and is surrounded by zombies on every side, who’re hammering themselves against the windows, trying to get in. They break through the glass, and as a measure of last resort, the couple explodes the vehicle.

Have a look above, it’s really good. And it’s not in reverse.

Dead Island: Riptide is scheduled for a 2013 release date.

Furious monsoon rainstorms have laid waste to the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago. Waters have risen and caused a flood disaster – because of this and the raging zombie invasion, a rescue mission for the survivors seems to be without prospect of success. All hope seems to have been lost for the surviving humans…
