With the PS5 Pro having officially launched worldwide today, there’s been a long line of games that have received patches to add enhancements geared specifically for the console. As you’d expect, there’s several first-party games on that list as well- including some that have been available on PS5 since the day that it came out, in fact.
Specifically, Bluepoint Games’ Demon’s Souls remake is now PS5 Pro Enhanced. Taking to Twitter, the developer announced that patch 1.005 has gone live for the action RPG, which, in addition to some tweaks and fixes, adds PS5 Pro support. On the new console, the remake runs at an upscaled 4K resolution, courtesy of PSSR, while also targeting 60 FPS. Check out the full patch notes in Bluepoint’s tweet below.
Demon’s Souls is available on PS5. As of September 2021, it has sold 1.4 million units worldwide, with later leaks indicating over 2 million shipments by 2022.
