Sony showed off another new trailer for the upcoming Demon’s Souls at their PS5 Showcase. A remake of FromSoftware’s excellent 2009 action-RPG, the Bluepoint Games and SIE Japan Studio developed PS5 title has been highly anticipated since even before it was officially unveiled, and the new trailer will only serve to drive up that anticipation further.

The trailer shows the player moving through plenty of environments, taking out plenty of foes with combat that’s looking as weighty as you’d want, culminating in a boss fight that ends quickly… exactly as you’d expect- with an all-too-familiar “You Died” screen. That is followed by a montage of gameplay and cutscenes from across the game. Visually, the remake is looking excellent. Check it out below.

Demon’s Souls is in development for the PS5 but doesn’t yet have a launch date. Reports have indicated that it might be a PS5 launch title, but Sony haven’t said anything concrete one way or another.
