Destiny 2 Crimson Days 2019

Bungie’s Destiny 2 will see the return of Crimson Days on February 12th. Though the Crimson Doubles playlist returns, offering 2v2 PvP action with a special perk, there will be new PvE bounties for players to complete as well. In a new blog post, Bungie has revealed that five Crimson Bounties will be available with Shaxx, four being daily and one being a weekly Nightfall Duo bounty for you and your partner.

Each daily bounty provides 15 Confectionery Hearts, an event-specific currency for buying new items. The Nightfall Duo bounty provides 75 Hearts. Playing Crimson Doubles provides 7 Hearts on winning and 5 Hearts on losing. Take a look at what Shaxx offers for your Hearts:

  • Tirastrella (Legendary Ghost Shell) – 25 Confectionery Hearts
  • Undeterred (Exotic Sparrow) – 50 Confectionery Hearts
  • The Vow (Legendary Bow) – 100 Confectionery Hearts
  • Wardcliff Coil Ornament – 125 Confectionery Hearts
  • Flaunting Dance (Legendary Emote) – 150 Confectionery Hearts
  • Warmhearted Gift Package – 15 Confectionery Hearts

The Warmhearted Gift Package can contain Enhancement Cores, weapons, mods, resources, and other gear, and it seems to be a nice way to farm Cores. The Vow is probably what every Destiny 2 player will be grinding for, since it’s fully Masterworked and at 650 Power. It’s also the first bow for non-Forsaken owners since the expansion launched in September 2018. If that weren’t enough, players will have Crimson Days-specific Triumphs to complete, which award the Sugary Ghost Shell as a reward.
