Another week, another set of returning Exotics from Xur in Bungie’s Destiny 2. Still, even if you own everything here, there’s definitely something that new players will want to get a hold of. Xur is currently at The Rig on Titan, where he’ll remain until tomorrow’s weekly reset.
The key Exotic this week is Sunshot, an Exotic handcannon that costs 29 Legendary Shards. Along with firing explosive rounds, which means more damage, enemies killed with the weapon explode. This is more akin to the Firefly of old than the weaker Dragonfly and can be extremely potent for add clear.
Exotic gear consists of Liar’s Handshake (Hunter gloves), Eternal Warrior (Titan helm) and Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Liar’s Handshake is the most noteworthy – when using an Arc melee ability or being hit by a melee attack, you can unleash a counter-melee that deals bonus damage and heals you. Pair this with One-Two Punch Shotguns for some insane damage.
In other Destiny 2 news, the game with all of its expansions, including the upcoming Beyond Light, is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Seasonal content is not included however.
