Bungie released its newest DLC for Destiny 2, Forsaken, last week but the studio is still working hard behind the scenes. Following a litany of issues reported by players, the developer announced in its weekly blog that hotfix 2.0.2 would be going live for all platforms on September 11th.

The update will go live at 9 AM PDT/12 PM EST, and while it won’t stop players already engaged in activities, it will kick them out at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EST once they’re done. Those not in any activity will go straight back to the log in screen. For players still busy with activities at this point, they’ll be removed regardless of completion at 2 AM PDT/5 PM EST.

It’s probably better to just wrap up what you’re doing and then download the hotfix before continuing. Bungie is seeking to address a number of issues, especially with Forsaken’s raid Last Wish around the corner. The raid goes live on September 14th at 10 AM PDT.
