Destiny 2 Year 2 reveal

Bungie’s reveal stream for Destiny 2: Forsaken, the next big DLC for the shared world shooter, is currently live. Along with a release date of September 4th, Forsaken has a new vidoc which goes into detail about all the new features and locations. Check it out below.

Some of these changes include a new loadout system which allows players to wield three of the same weapon type, random rolls for weapons and a revamped mod system. Three new Supers will be coming including a flaming hammer for the Titan and flaming knives for the Hunter. A new weapon type, the Bow, will also be introduced with several different archetypes.

Furthermore, Forsaken will offer new locations like the Tangled Shore, a collection of asteroids with lawless enemies called the Scorn to fight, and the Dreaming City, which will tie into the new raid. A new mode called Gambit will combine PvP and PvE as two teams of four players fight enemies in their own instances, collecting Motes and banking them in order to eliminate a Prime Evil. However, the opposing team’s instance can also be invaded by a single player.
