Destiny 2 Guardian Games

The Almighty may be on a crash-course for Earth but that doesn’t phase the Guardians of the Last City in Destiny 2. On top of scrounging for meaningless loot – that will either be nerfed or rendered obsolete – players can partake in the Guardian Games. Starting on April 21st till May 11th, it sees all three classes competing for supremacy. Because that meant so much during Faction Rallies, right?

Players will complete different activities and challenges with an actual scoreboard in the Tower keeping track. New armor can be earned along with the Heir Apparent Exotic. Don’t forget about Eververse though, with new emotes, ships, universal ornaments and Sparrows added. How much of this will be purchasable with Bright Dust remains to be seen.

Along with Guardian Games, Destiny 2 will see Grandmaster Nightfall Ordeals added on April 21st. These are essentially tougher Nightfalls that provide – surprise – no unique loot but an increased chance of Exotics and Masterworking materials dropping. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
