Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy_02

The latest hotfix for Bungie’s Destiny 2 is currently live for all platforms and, as promised, it nerfs the Exotic auto rifle Hard Light. “Nerf” is probably too strong of a word though. It adds some damage falloff, which translates 0.7x the base damage and is still higher than auto rifles in general. The damage of ricocheted shots has also been adjusted for PvP only, now dealing 1.35x base damage.

There are a few other changes with this hotfix, including a bug that caused player ability energy to regenerate quickly when picking up Warmind Cells. Warmind Cell mods are still crazy good though so don’t let this deter you from trying them. Another issue that’s been resolved are level 32 and 92 upgrades from the Season Pass now being available for all three characters.

Check out the full patch notes below. Bungie has more changes coming up though, especially in the next season. These include revamping Trials of Osiris to be more rewarding for players, a weekly bounty for unlocking rewards and so on. You can read more about that here.

Combat

  • Fixed an issue that allowed Guardian’s to quickly regain ability energy by picking up Warmind Cells.
