A new hotfix releases for Bungie’s Destiny 2 today, according to the latest This Week at Bungie. Maintenance begins at 9 AM PDT and servers will go offline at 9:45 AM PDT. At 10 AM PDT, hotfix 220.127.116.11 will become available for all regions and platforms with maintenance wrapping at 11 AM PDT.
Bungie hasn’t detailed all of the changes and fixes that it brings. However, it confirmed that an issue preventing Windows 7 and 8.1 players from playing the game since The Witch Queen was released should be resolved. Stay tuned for more detailed patch notes when they go live.
Destiny 2 is currently available for PS4, PS5, PC, Google Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Its latest expansion, The Witch Queen, released in February and added a new campaign, new side quests, weapon crafting (whose resources will be overhauled in the future), and new loot. A new raid, Vow of the Disciple, is also included. For more details, check out our review here.
