Destiny 2 Solstice

Destiny 2 has kicked off the latest iteration of its annual Solstice event. Available for free, the event includes rewards including armor, and a Legendary Stasis Hand Cannon. Check out the trailer for the new Solstice event below.

On logging in to Destiny 2, players will find Eva Levante throwing a party and inviting Guardians to take part. Having kicked off on July 19, the Solstice event will go on until August 9.

Taking part in the event automatically rewards players with a set of redesigned Solstice armour, along with the chance to get the new Legendary Stasis Hand Cannon, dubbed Something New. The big activity for the event this time around is the Bonfire Bash activity, where players have to fend off waves of enemies to upgrade their armour.

Earlier this month, Destiny 2 got hotfix 4.1.0.4, fixing several issues with the new Dungeon, Duality. For more details on the hotfix, go here. And for the latest update on Xur’s inventory, go here.
