Destiny 2 Lightfall - Strand_02

With Destiny 2: Lightfall less than two weeks away, Bungie has released a ViDoc discussing some of the features that fans can look forward to. Various development team members talk about the story, including the threat of The Witness. Check it out below.

As revealed in the Season 19 ending cinematic, The Witness and The Black Fleet have arrived in the Solar System and are targeting the Traveler. However, players will also venture to Neomuna on Neptune and work with the Cloudstriders to battle The Witness and Calus. In doing so, players discover the new Strand sub-class, which grants increased mobility, Threadlings to attack enemies, and much more.

Thanks to Loadouts, there are several more options for managing one’s builds, and the ViDoc briefly teases some of the new mods coming. If that weren’t enough, there’s a peak at Season 20 or Season of Defiance, which goes live on the same day as Lightfall. It sees several characters from the base game, including Devrim Kay, working with the player to fight the ground war on Earth.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is out on February 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
