Destiny 2 Nightfall Changed to The Inverted Spire

Due to a bug with Clan Engrams, this week's Nightfall Strike has been changed.

Destiny 2

After this week’s reset for Bungie’s Destiny 2, players started noticing a rather odd issue. If you’re part of a clan, then completing the Nightfall Strike “A Garden World” didn’t grant you any Clan Engrams. Given the number of clans that are active in Destiny 2 these days (read: not many), this may not seem like a huge bug but it’s a bug nonetheless.

Bungie has verified the isssue and announced that the Nightfall would be changed to a different Strike. Players have noted that The Inverted Spire is now this week’s Nightfall with the modifiers Momentum (move to regen health and shields, sprint to regen faster) and Timewarp: Rings (pass through Vex rings to add more time).

We’re not sure why A Garden World presented such issues but it could be related to owners and non-owners of the Curse of Osiris DLC. Everything else seems to be in working order though. Bungie had also confirmed that The Dawning would be ending on January 9th and new information on its next season would be coming on January 11th.
