Bungie has a new patch for Destiny 2 this week, targeting Touch of Malice and Quicksilver Storm. It will fix an issue affecting both weapons that caused them to do less damage to Minor enemies. As noted in the tweet, “Red bars will once again live in fear of these Exotics, as nature intended.”
Quicksilver Storm is an auto-rifle that doubles as a grenade launcher and is only available by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of Lightfall. Its Catalyst also allows for creating Tangles from the grenades, but the damage left much to be desired (despite Kinetic weapons being buffed this season). So for those who like the Exotic and maybe want to give Touch of Malice another try, there’s hope.
Destiny 2: Lightfall is available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. You can read our official review for more details. Raid Master Mode and rotating Challenges went live earlier this week in Root of Nightmares. If you complete a Challenge on Master Mode, it grants an Adept raid weapon with perks that can be enhanced (but at a later point in the season).
In this week's upcoming patch, we have a fix planned to correct an issue that was causing Touch of Malice and Quicksilver Storm to deal less damage than intended to minor enemies. Red bars will once again live in fear of these Exotics, as nature intended.
