Shatterdive and Whisper of Fissures will have their damage heavily reduced in Crucible.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light - Revenant

Along with updating loot from the Dreaming City and Moon, Season 13 for Destiny 2 will also see nerfs to Revenant. The Hunter Stasis subclass has been running amok in Crucible for some time now and these changes are expected to make it easier to deal with. First up is Shatterdive which will have a damage fall-off against unfrozen targets.

The max range of damage has also been dropped from 50 to 5 while the damage reduction from the ability is being reduced from 50 to 25 percent. Whisper of Fissures’ max-min damage against non-Super players is being reduced from 42-22 to 30-4. Against players in their Super, it will go from 42-22 to 16-2.

While Revenant may be getting nerfed immediately when update 3.0.2 drops next season, Bungie is also looking into the Titan’s Behemoth Super. The developer also wants to “pull up other under-performing Light sub-classes” and have a proper balance between abilities and gunplay in 3v3 playlists. Time will tell how these goals shake out so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
