Bungie has confirmed the launch date for Destiny 2’s next raid in the latest “This Week at Bungie.” It goes live on August 26th at 10 AM PDT with a reveal for the same coming at the Destiny 2 Showcase in August. This will be the second Destiny 1 raid added to the game after Vault of Glass.

As with every raid, there will be a World First race with Contest Mode enabled for the first 24 hours. Players are capped at 1560 Power for all encounters and upon clearing it, Challenge Mode can be accessed. Interestingly, clearing the raid isn’t how a fireteam wins the race. Instead, they must earn a secret Triumph for completing all of the challenge Triumphs in each encounter in Challenge Mode to win.

Challenge Mode and the secret Triumph are only available for the first 24 hours of the raid. Furthermore, failing any of the conditions in each challenge encounter will wipe the team. Once Bungie reviews the results, it will declare the winners and award each with a special raid championship belt. Stay tuned for more details from the upcoming Destiny 2 Showcase on August 23rd.
