Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted

Ahead of Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted, Bungie has released a new Developer Insight trailer for Solar 3.0. This is the long-awaited rework of all of the Solar subclasses, giving them Aspects and Fragments much like Void 3.0 received. Check out some of the new abilities below.

Titans can perform an uppercut with two Sol hammers and then smash down, causing immense single-target damage. Hunters can throw a super-powerful Tripmine which deals immense area damage, sticks to surfaces and can also be shot in mid-air. Warlocks get the “snap”, sending out waves of embers to incinerate targets (or chain detonate when landing on a single target).

There will no doubt be more to unpack in the coming weeks as more Aspects and Fragments are added. In the meantime, stay tuned for patch notes on Season of the Haunted which delivers new activities, weapons, armor and quests along with various buffs for weapons like Glaives and a new Rotator system.
