Destiny 2 - The Dawning 2021

Bungie’s latest seasonal event for Destiny 2, The Dawning, is now live as part of Season of the Lost. It sees Eva Levante returning to the Tower and once again tasking Guardians with gathering ingredients to bake treats for the various denizens of the world. Check out everything that’s new in the trailer below.

Along with Levante, snowballs have also made a return and they now seem to be infused with Stasis. The Seasonal Legendary sword Zephyr is also a Stasis type, which should open up the build diversity even more. New activities aside, the Eververse has also been stuffed with new emotes and armor sets for players to don.

The Dawning is live until January 4th, 2022. Along with the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, it provides a decent enough distraction until The Witch Queen expansion launches on February 22nd 2022. The latter provides the next chapter in the long-running story as players go up against Savathun and new Hive Guardians along with utilizing a new weapon type, the Glaive, and weapon crafting. Check out some of the opening mission here.
