Following its launch several weeks ago, Destiny 2: The Final Shape has received an accolades trailer. It focuses on the critical praise for the expansion, which currently has an 89 Metascore on Metacritic. Check it out below.

As the conclusion to the Light and Darkness saga, the expansion features a final battle with The Witness as players venture through the Pale Heart of the Traveler. The odds are stacked against the Vanguard, but a new power, Prismatic, and the return of Cayde-6 help to even them.

The Final Shape offers a new campaign, Exotic quests and Legendary Weapons and new activities like Overthrow. There’s also the introduction of Pathfinder to replace the traditional bounty system, the Salvation’s Edge raid and even a new 12-player activity called Excision (which recently received a Grandmaster difficulty). Check out our review for more details.

Of course, Destiny 2’s story continues with Episodes, with the first, Echoes, currently live. Players venture to Nessus to investigate a new threat involving the Vex with the help of Failsafe. Though the format is similar to seasons, each Episode consists of three Acts. Two additional Episodes, Revenant and Heresy, are coming later this year, so stay tuned.
