Destiny 2 The Witch Queen

The journey to Savathun, the Witch Queen has been pretty long for Destiny 2 fans, starting in September 2018 with the release of Forsaken and playing out in the background. However, with The Witch Queen expansion on the horizon, Bungie has offered a small sneak peek at the big bad herself. Check it out below.

There’s not much to go off of but it does at least hint at a new environment and absolute destruction at the hands of Savathun. A full trailer should be showcased at tomorrow’s Destiny 2 showcase along with more details on what to expect in the expansion. Perhaps a release date will be revealed as well.

In the meantime, Bungie has plenty of other stuff coming. Cross-play launches tomorrow while Season of the Lost, which sees the return of Mara Sov, will also debut. Details on the revamp of Trials of Osiris, along with long-term Crucible plans, should also be revealed during the stream. It’s set to air at 9 AM PT tomorrow so stay tuned for more details.
