Bungie’s Destiny 2 will see the return of Festival of the Lost, its Halloween-themed event, later today. However, it will also receive update 2.6.1 which fixes a number of outstanding issues. One such issue prevented players from unlocking the Forges for Black Armory, which is pretty important considering the Exotics tied to it.

An issue that prevented the Mysterious Box quest to obtain Izanagi’s Burden has also been fixed. If you’ve been waiting to unlock the sniper for the Garden of Salvation raid, this will be your chance. There’s also a fix for an issue that caused daily bounties from Eris Morn and the Lectern of Enchantment in Shadowkeep to rotate weekly.

You can check out the highlights below though there will be detailed patch notes later today as well. Destiny 2 is currently free to play on Xbox One, PS4 and PC as Destiny 2: New Light so if you want to try out the Festival of the Lost, it’s a pretty good time. The fact that every new player starts at 750 Power and only needs to be 770 Power to partake in the event is also nice.

Destiny 2 Update 2.6.1

  • Resolved an issue that prevented some veteran players from unlocking Black Armory forges and completing the Mysterious Box quest for Izanagi’s Burden.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented players from abandoning the Mysterious Box quest for Izanagi’s Burden on alt characters—it will be retrievable from Ada-1.
  • Resolved an issue where the Exodus Black destination quest could not be recovered if abandoned—it will be retrievable from Failsafe.
  • Resolved an issue which prevented some players from earning the “Silimar’s Design” Triumph—this Triumph will unlock retroactively for eligible players.
  • Resolved an issue causing daily bounties from Eris Morn and the Lectern of Enchantment to rotate weekly.
  • Resolved an issue that increased load times for previewing gear while traveling between destinations.
