Destiny 2 - Outbreak Perfected

Yesterday saw The Revelry disappear and Bungie releasing a new update for Destiny 2. However, players discovered that a quest for a new Exotic had been added as well. Not just any Exotic either – it’s an updated version of Rise of Iron’s Outbreak Prime, renamed Outbreak Perfected.

The pulse rifle was an Exotic earned from an augmented reality game and by playing the Wrath of the Machine raid. It was actually a fairly well done quest that saw the community come together and solve the puzzle. How does Outbreak Perfected differ from its predecessor?

Instead of releasing SIVA nanites on headshot kills, it now increases the damage done to a foe based on the number of nanites stuck to them. The quest requires playing through a number of Lost Sectors, finding Fallen Transponders, and going back to the Old Tower to partake in a 690 Power mission.
