Destiny 2 Xur Exotics: Ashen Wake, The Colony, and Orpheus Rig

The Exotic vendor has some decent offerings before Armor 2.0 arrives.

Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, setting up shop in The Winding Cove of the European Dead Zone. You can shop for his wares until the reset tomorrow. All of this may seem redundant with Armor 2.0 arriving next week but for those getting into the game, it doesn’t hurt to have some of these Exotics.

Exotic gear includes Karnstein Armlets (Warlock gloves), Ashen Wake (Titan gloves) and Orpheus Rig (Hunter boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Ashen Wake causes Fusion Grenades to explode on impact. Karnstein Armlets will restore a large amount of health with melee kills while Orpheus Rig provides more shots to Moebius Quiver while providing ability energy for each enemy tethered by Deadfall.

The Exotic weapon this week is The Colony, a grenade launcher. It fires seeking insectoid grenades that home in on their targets. When stowed, it slowly refills the magazine over time. For 29 Legendary Shards, it’s a surprisingly good heavy weapon for Crucible.
