It’s that time of the week again when Xur, Agent of the Nine and Exotic vendor, returns to Destiny 2. You’ll find him in the Winding Cove of the European Dead Zone, where he’ll remain until the weekly reset tomorrow. This week’s Exotic weapon is Crimson, a three-round burst handcannon which has been quite strong in PvP.
In addition to strong damage and range, it also has very good reload speed. The Exotic perk, Cruel Remedy, heals the player on every kill while getting precision kills refills the magazine. For just 29 Legendary Shards, it’s well worth picking up.
The Exotic gear available this week is St0mp-EE5 (Hunter boots), Ursa Furiosa (Titan gloves) and Chromatic Fire (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. St0mp-EE5 is pretty good for the increased sprint speed and improved jump while Chromatic Fire can be decent in PvE when paired with weapons like Bad Juju or even Crimson. The less said about Ursa Furiosa, which has seen numerous nerfs for its Super energy gain, the better.
