Destiny 2 Lord of Wolves

Exotic vendor Xur has returned in Destiny 2 and he’s currently in the European Dead Zone’s Winding Cove. There aren’t many weeks left till Shadowkeep launches so if there’s an Exotic you really want, now is the time to claim it. Xur will be available until tomorrow’s weekly reset.

This week, Xur is carrying the Lord of Wolves, an Exotic shotgun that fires in bursts. It has a special perk called “Release the Wolves” that doubles the bursts fired, which made it quite the terror in PvP for a while. Bungie has since nerfed the weapon but it’s still highly effective in the Crucible. Pick it up for just 29 Legendary Shards.

Exotic gear this week includes Lion Rampant (Titan boots), Sunbracers (Warlock gloves) and Gemini Jester (Hunter boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Lion Rampant offers better maneuverability in-air along with accurate hip-fire during the Lift sequence. Meanwhile, Sunbracers will increase the duration of Solar Grenades with Solar melee kills granting unlimited Solar Grenade energy for a short time. It’s not very long, unfortunately.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is out on October 1st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It coincides with the launch of Destiny 2: New Light, the free to play version of Year 1 content.
