Exotic vendor Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny 2, stopping over at The Rig on Titan. He’ll be there until the next weekly reset so if you have the Legendary Shards to spare, it might be worth the trip. Or maybe not, considering many of the Exotics this week range from familiar to “meh”.
The Exotic gear this week is the Ophidia Spathe (Hunter chest), Aeon Safe (Titan gloves) and Chromatic Fire (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Ophidia Spathe grants two knives per charge for Hunters while Chromatic Fire will cause kinetic precision kills to create elemental explosions corresponding to the equipped subclass. Aeon Safe restore class ability/melee/grenade energy to Hunters/Titans/Warlocks respectively.
Vigilance Wing might be worth picking up for PvP players. It’s a five-burst Pulse Rifle and provides increased health regen and movement speed when a nearby teammate dies. Overall, it’s a solid Exotic for Crucible and can be obtained for just 29 Legendary Shards.
