Tentacle-faced Exotic vendor Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2. He can be found in the Tower where Dead Orbit (remember Factions?) used to hang out. Scope out his wares while you can – Xur is available until the next weekly reset.
Exotic gear this week includes Aeon Safe (Titan gloves), Fr0st-EE5 (Hunter boots), and Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. FrOst-EE5 is good for regeneration of melee, grenades, and class abilities while sprinting. Otherwise, Wings of Sacred Dawn and Aeon Safe are fairly skippable even if you’re a new player.
Hilariously, there’s no Exotic weapon to purchase this week. Bungie hasn’t really addressed why, but it could be a bug. Destiny 2 will see the Season of Opulence starting on June 4th with a new raid, new activities, and much more for players to pursue. However, on June 6th, it will unveil the “next chapter” of its shared world shooter. Stay tuned for more details.
