The jury is out on how much better the Exotic drop rate is or whether the Exotic duplicate protection is working as intended in Destiny 2. However, Exotic vendor Xur isn’t looking to ease the pain of no Forsaken Exotics any time soon. He can be found on Io at Giant’s Scar, where he’ll remain until the next weekly reset.
Xur’s Exotic gear for the week includes Aeon Safe (Titan gloves), Ophidia Spathe (Hunter chest), and Winter’s Guile (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Each comes with randomly rolled perks (aside from their main perks), so it might be worth checking them out for potentially better rolls. Otherwise, there’s nothing here that you haven’t seen before.
The Exotic weapon this week is a grenade launcher called The Prospector, which costs 29 Legendary Shards. Though it’s full auto, holding down the trigger will delay the explosion of grenades. Release it and all grenades will detonate together. They can also stick to surfaces and set targets ablaze.
