Everyone’s favorite vendor Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, and for the first time in what feels like forever, he has an essential Exotic. You’ll find him in the European Dead Zone on Earth until the next weekly reset. The Exotic weapon on sale is Arbalest, an Exotic linear fusion rifle.
But it’s not just any linear fusion rifle. Arbalet is Kinetic and fits in the Primary weapons lot. Though it’s not the best for boss damage, its main perk, “Compounding Force,” deals heavy damage to enemy shields. It’s especially good against Barrier Champions, and breaking an enemy’s shield makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief time. This makes it very good for higher-difficulty Nightfalls, and it’s only 29 Legendary Shards.
Other Exotics include Fr0st-EE5 (Hunter boots), Ursa Furiosa (Titan gloves), and Karnstein Armlets (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. This week’s roll on Hawkmoon includes Chambered Compensator, Hip-Fire Grip and Heavy Grip. Dead Man’s Tale has Extended Barrel, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Killing Wind, and Short-Action Stock.
The Legendary armor this week is from Season of the Lost, with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the new Legendary weapons below:
