Destiny 2 Xur

With Into the Light coming next week to Bungie’s Destiny 2 for all players, it’s a good time for newcomers to visit Xur and purchase some Exotics. He’s in the Tower Hangar until the next weekly reset, with Black Talon as the Exotic weapon of the week.

The Heavy Void sword fires a projectile on Heavy Attack (which gets stronger at full energy). Every other powered sword kill grants ammo, meaning you can spam projectiles for a reasonable time. Though not a top-tier Exotic, it’s still fun to play with and costs 29 Legendary Shards.

This week’s Hawkmoon roll offers Full Bore, Eye of the Storm and Smooth Grip – a decent PvP roll if you don’t have one already. The Exotic armor on sale includes Aeon Swift (Hunter gloves), Antaeus Wards (Titan boots) and Contraverse Hold (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards.

The Simulator set from the now-defunct Future War Cult is available, each piece costing 1000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards. Check out the latest Legendary weapons below.

  • False Promises – Kinetic Auto Rifle
  • Far Future – Energy Sniper Rifle
  • Under Your Skin – Energy Combat Bow
  • Spare Rations – Kinetic Hand Cannon
  • Threaded Needle – Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle
  • Planck’s Stride – Heavy Machine Gun
  • Vulpecula – Kinetic Hand Cannon
