Destiny 2 Xur

The master of least desired loot Xur returns to Bungie’s Destiny 2. He’s on Nessus in the Arcadian Valley, where he’ll remain until the next weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is Hard Light, a meme-turned-viable-competitive-weapon.

The auto rifle’s rounds have reduced damage falloff, can over-penetrate targets, and also ricochet off of hard surfaces. Damage increases with each bounce, though this was nerfed over time. Another neat perk is that it can change elements, going from Solar to Arc to Void at a moment’s notice. A nifty weapon, if not particularly compelling at the moment. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards.

The Exotic gear this week includes Liar’s Handshake (Hunter gloves), Lion Rampant (Titan boots) and Crown of Tempests (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. The roll on Hawkmoon includes Fluted Barrel, Opening Shot, and Combat Grip, which is very good for Crucible. Dead Man’s Tale has Full Bore, Ricochet Rounds, Vorpal Weapon and Fitted Stock.

The Legendary armor on sale is from Season of the Splicer, with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1,000 Glimmer. Check out all of the new Legendary weapons below:

  • Death Adder – Energy Submachine Gun
  • Fractethyst – Kinetic Shotgun
  • Iota Draconis – Energy Fusion Rifle
  • IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.2 – Energy Submachine Gun
  • Stars in Shadow – Energy Pulse Rifle
  • IKELOS_HC_v1.0.2 – Energy Hand Cannon
  • Seventh Seraph SAW – Heavy Machine Gun
