Exotic vendor Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2 and he brings a mixture of loot, both happy and sad. You can find him in the European Dead Zone where he will remain until the weekly reset on February 20th.
This week, Xur is carrying Lucky Pants (Hunter boots), ACD/0 Feedback Fence (Titan gloves) and Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Lucky Pants are pretty much disposable. ACD/0 Feedback Fence hurts enemies that melee you but the damage is minuscule compared to Destiny 1. Starfire Protocol is decent for those who really like using Rifts as a Warlock.
Despite the gear being “meh”, Xur has also brought one of the best Power weapons in the game – the Merciless fusion rifle. This weapon charges faster with each subsequent shot as long as your target is still alive, making it excellent for DPS against Elites and bosses. It can be yours for a measly 29 Legendary Shards.
