Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2, carrying – you guessed it – some fairly typical Exotics and Legendaries. He’s available till the next weekly reset and carries Merciless, an Energy fusion rifle. Despite going from Heavy to Special ammo, it doesn’t compete with other Exotics.

Nevertheless, with projectile hits decreasing its charge time briefly and reloading after a kill grants a short damage bonus, it’s not the worst weapon in the game. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards, especially if you’re new to the game.

Hawkmoon has a new random roll, which includes Corkscrew Rifling, Hip-Fire Grip and Combat Grip. As for other Exotics, there’s Orpheus Rig (Hunter boots), Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan boots) and Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards.

The Escalation Protocol from Warmind is also available, with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the latest Legendary weapons below:

  • Stochastic Variable – Energy Submachine Gun
  • Hoosegow – Heavy Rocket Launcher
  • Royal Chase – Energy Scout Rifle
  • Escape Velocity – Kinetic Submachine Gun
  • Without Remorse – Energy Shotgun
  • Threaded Needle – Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle
  • Chroma Rush – Kinetic Auto Rifle
