Xur is back in Bungie’s Destiny 2, and the offerings are typical, as expected. He’s here until the next weekly reset and sells Prometheus Lens, an Exotic Solar Energy trace rifle, for 29 Legendary Shards.
It generates a heat field that increases the longer it’s fired. Continued damage also applies Scorch, and enemy kills will return some ammo from reserves. As far as Solar weapons go, it’s not the best choice (especially when CALUS Mini-Tool is available), but worth trying out for fun.
As for Hawkmoon, its new random roll is Chambered Compensator, Snapshot Sights and Textured Grip. The Exotic gear this week includes Raiden Flux (Hunter chest), Hallowfire Heart (Titan chest) and Felwinter’s Helm (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. The Legendary Armor set for this week is the Gensym Knight set from Season 1, with each piece costing 5000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.
