Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny 2, taking up residence in the European Dead Zone on Earth. He’s available until tomorrow’s weekly reset and has the Exotic Energy trace rifle Prometheus Lens on sale.
As a Solar trace rifle, Prometheus Lens generates a field of heat the longer you fire and can apply Scorch to enemies. Kills also return ammo to the magazine for reserves, allowing one to keep firing. It’s not the best among the Exotic trace rifles, but still worthwhile for 29 Legendary Shards.
The Exotic gear on sale includes The Dragon’s Shadow (Hunter chest), Mk 44 Stand Asides (Titan boots), and Felwinter’s Helm (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. There are also new random rolls for Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale, with the former having Corkscrew Rifling, Killing Wind and Textured Grip.
The latter has Fluted Barrel, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Moving Target and Short-Action Stock. The Legendary armor available is the Sovereign set from New Monarchy (before they fled in Season of the Splicer). You can pick up each piece for 1000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.
