Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny 2, brandishing some new and familiar Exotics and Legendaries. He’s in the Tower Hangar until the next weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is the Solar scout rifle Skyburner’s Oath.

Costing 29 Legendary Shards, it fires explosive slugs which travel straight when aiming down sights. Hip-firing creates larger explosions while applying Scorch to an enemy. Along with dealing extra damage to Cabal, it can penetrate Phalanx shields and fire in Full Auto. Not the best Exotic by a long shot, but pick it up to complete the collection.

Other Exotics include Raiju’s Harness (Hunter chest), Eternal Warrior (Titan helm), and Aeon Soul (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. This week’s Hawkmoon roll has the perks Fluted Barrel, Killing Wind and Textured Grip. Dead Man’s Tale offers perks like Fluted Barrel, High Caliber Rounds, Moving Target and Short-Action Stock.

The Legendary armor is the Gensym Knight set from Season 1 with Armor 2.0 mod support. Each piece costs 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. The new Legendary weapons on sale include:

  • Wolftone Draw – Energy Combat Bow
  • Cartesian Coordinate – Energy Fusion Rifle
  • Seventh Seraph Carbine – Kinetic Auto Rifle
  • Iota Draconis – Energy Fusion Rifle
  • Chrysura Melo – Energy Auto Rifle
  • Tarantula – Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle
  • Frozen Orbit -Energy Sniper Rifle
