Xur, a beloved vendor of Exotics in the Destiny 1 days, has gained a rather infamous reputation in the sequel. In Bungie’s shared world shooter post-Forsaken, the Agent of the Nine simply doesn’t provide exotics from the newest DLC. Xur’s latest visit is no different, but you can still find him in the Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone. He’ll remain there until the next weekly reset.
This week, Xur is carrying the Karnestein Armlets (Warlock gloves) that greatly restore health on melee kills; Wormhusk Crown (Hunter helm), which restores health when dodging; and Armamentarium (Titan chest) which provides an extra grenade charge. Each piece costs 23 Legendary Shards. If you’re new to the game, they’re all worth picking up.
Then there’s the SUROS Regime, an Exotic Kinetic auto rifle that has two modes for firing – Focused Fire for slower ADS shots and Spinning Up for faster rate of fire the longer the trigger is held. The bottom half of the magazine also deals extra damage, and has a chance to heal the player. It can be yours for 29 Legendary Shards. Again, nothing revolutionary, but a solid auto rifle for beginners to have.
Stay tuned for more news on Destiny 2. Its next DLC Black Armory is set to release on December 4th.
