Destiny 2 Xur

A favorite for new players and a letdown for veterans, Xur returns to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2. He’s in the Hangar, where he’ll remain until tomorrow’s reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is the rocket launcher Two-Tailed Fox. It’s unique for shooting two rockets of differing elements, Solar and Void, that can track an enemy.

While the Void rocket suppresses foes, the Solar rocket deals damage over time. Very niche but still worth trying out, especially since it costs only 29 Legendary Shards. The Exotic gear on sale includes Wormhusk Crown (Hunter helm), ACD/0 Feedback Fence (Titan gloves), and Contraverse Hold (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards.

The roll for Hawkmoon this week includes Hammer-Forged Rifling, Opening Shot, and Smooth Grip, which is good for PvP. Dead Man’s Tale Kinetic has Extended Barrel, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Fourth Time’s the Charm, and Fitted Stock. A decent option for PvE, but lacking the essential Vorpal Weapon.

The Legendary armor this week is from Season of Opulence, with each piece costing 1000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards. Check out all of the new Legendary weapons below:

  • Negative Space – Heavy Sword
  • Escape Velocity – Kinetic Submachine Gun
  • Enigma’s Draw – Kinetic Sidearm
  • Punching Out – Energy Sidearm
  • Stars in Shadow – Energy Pulse Rifle
  • True Prophecy – Kinetic Hand Cannon
  • Seventh Seraph CQC-12 – Energy Shotgun
